Kurt Masur Cancels BSO Performances

Kurt Masur has withdrawn from the upcoming Boston (February 23, 24, and 25) and New York (March 6) performances of Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis", due to his current physical condition and the great demands of this particular piece. John Oliver, conductor of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, will lead the Boston performances.
