Free Tour of Symphony
Hall
Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of
America's premier concert hall. Experienced members of the Boston
Symphony Association of Volunteers unfold the history and
traditions of the Boston Symphony Orchestra-its musicians,
conductors, and supporters-as well as offer information about the
Hall.
The Boston Symphony Association of
Volunteers offers tours of Symphony Hall during the symphony
season. Tours include viewing of public spaces in Symphony Hall, as
well as select behind-the-scenes areas when available. Tours begin
at the Massachusetts Avenue lobby entrance.

are:
February 4, 25 - Saturday at 2pm
February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 - Wednesday at 4pm
March 10, 24 - Saturday at 2pm
March 7, 14, 21, 28 - Wednesday at 4pm
April 7, 28 - Saturday at 2pm
April 4, 11, 18, 25 - Wednesday at 4pm
May 5, 19 - Saturday at 2pm
May 2 - Wednesday at 4 pm
Private Group Tours
Group tours can be arranged in
advance, BSO schedule permitting. There is no charge for New
England school and community groups. Tours arranged by commercial
tour operators will be charged $7 per person. If the entire group
attends a Symphony Hall concert within one week of the tour, the
charge is reduced to $2 per person. Groups wishing to make a
reservation should contact the Volunteer Office at 617-638-9390 or
