Jiří Bělohlávek

The renowned Czech maestro Jiří Bělohlávek took up the position of Chief Conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra in July 2006. In September 2012 he will become the Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, a post he previously held from 1990 - 1992.

Myung-Whun Chung

Myung-Whun Chung began his musical career as a pianist, making his debut with the Seoul Philharmonic at the age of seven. In 1974 he won the second prize at the Tchaikovsky piano competition in Moscow.

Stéphane Denève
