Assistant Director of Program Publications, Editorial, Robert Kirzinger joined the staff of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1998.
Assistant Director of Program Publications, Editorial, Robert Kirzinger joined the staff of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1998. As an annotator he writes frequently for the BSO program book, with a particular focus on new music. At Tanglewood he writes for and is editor of the program book for the annual Festival of Contemporary Music. He also writes program notes and gives pre-concert talks for a number of other Boston-area ensembles and has written notes for several record labels. In addition, he is an active composer with degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the New England Conservatory of Music.Back
