Elizabeth Seitz

Elizabeth Seitz received her doctorate from Boston University in 1995, with a dissertation on the early works of Manuel de Falla and his relationship to the Impressionist movement. Ms. Seitz's interests range from Schubert to Tito Puente. She has lectured widely on these and other topics, including MTV as a cultural force in popular music. A faculty member at the Boston Conservatory of Music, she is the Opening Night speaker for Boston Lyric Opera and has also taught at Boston University, the New England Conservatory of Music, Tufts University, Northeastern University, and Washington University.
