The following are part-time, internships, and temporary positions, located at Tanglewood in Lenox.

TWD Visitor Center Representative

TWD Visitor Center Representative: S/he will answer questions regarding all details of Tanglewood both on the phone and in-person (walk-ins). Responsibilities include managing the Lost and Found, information dissemination, and generally customer service issues. Applicants must have an awareness of all the amenities of Tanglewood’s grounds and programs; this will involve studying and having a working knowledge of all of the events, rehearsals, talks, tours, etc. available to the public as well as those available to staff and faculty only. Visitor Center Representatives will work closely with the Guide staff to be sure that all information available to patrons is 100% correct and coordinated and that customer service remains at the highest level. Knowledge of music is extremely helpful. Foreign languages are a plus. Required to attend customer service training and orientation meeting. Must be motivated, responsible and punctual.

This is a part-time position, but applicants must be available for evening shifts during concerts.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, 5 years customer service experience, in person and on the phone, good computer skills and must work well with others.


Pay rate $8.00 /hr
