Tanglewood on Parade, one of the festival’s most beloved traditions, takes place July 28, culminating in a performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture followed by a dazzling fireworks display. James Levine, Keith Lockhart, John Williams, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, and Leonard Slatkin share the podium for this lively evening of music by the BSO, the TMCO, and the Boston Pops.
