Due to explicit lyrics and sophisticated subject matter, this concert may not be suitable for all ages.
Doors for this New Year's Eve celebration will open at 8:00 p.m. with pre-concert entertainment, cash bar, and all concert-goers will be treated to a gourmet boxed dinner. The pre-concert entertainment includes all of the acts listed below, plus some festive roving performance artists, dancers, and buskers.

- Orchestra Level - Floor Seats: Please enter through the main entrance on Massachusetts Avenue. Proceed to your seat and the boxed dinners will be available at your table.
- First Balcony: Please enter through the Cohen Wing Entrance on Huntington Avenue. Proceed to Higginson Hall or the Miller Room for your meal.
- Second Balcony: Please enter through the Cohen Wing Entrance on Huntington Avenue. An usher will assist you with meal pick up based on your seat location.
- Balcony Right - Pick up at Champagne Bar
- Balcony Left - Pick up at Golderg/Rabb Rooms in the Cohen Wing 2nd Floor (C-2) Foyer
- Balcony Center - Pick up at Cabot-Cahners Coat Room on first balcony level
Cash bars are located throughout the Hall and in all seating areas.

United States Premiere of the short film Statuesque by Neil Gaiman
 New Year’s Eve will feature the United States premiere of a short film created by Neil Gaiman called Statuesque, starring Bill Nighy and Amanda Palmer, with Emilie Bera, Liam McKean, Duncan Meadows, Damilola Odusote, and Becca Rosenthal. The original broadcast in the United Kingdom takes place on Sky 1 at 10:00pm on Christmas Day, as part of a larger commission of 12 silent shorts produced by Hilary Bevan Jones for Endor Productions for the "12 Days of Christmas." The musical score is by Sxip Shirey, also performing that evening.

About the Music
Provocative musician and artist Amanda Palmer will join Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops on Thursday, December 31, at 10 p.m., to ring in the New Year at Symphony Hall. The evening's festivities will feature Keith Lockhart leading the Boston Pops, and will feature material from Palmer's punk cabaret group The Dresden Dolls, her solo album, Who Killed Amanda Palmer, and much more. Amanda Palmer last performed with the Boston Pops on June 19 and 20, 2008.
