Flute virtuoso Sir James Galway and the Boston Symphony Orchestra are offering an opportunity for flute players aged 8 through 13 to participate in the premiere performance of a new work for flute ensemble to be written for Sir James Galway’s 70th birthday celebration at Tanglewood on Saturday, August 1.
