The BSO Online Conservatory offers music lovers an opportunity to explore some of the fascinating dimensions of the orchestra’s performances through the power of the Internet.We hope that by exploring the Conservatory and utilizing the interactive tools, your listening experience—both in and out of the concert hall—will be enriched through a deeper understanding of the forces that have shaped these great works of art. This season, the Online Conservatory will highlight performances that feature new BSO commissions by Elliott Carter, Henri Dutilleux,William Bolcom and John Harbison (see calendar for specific dates). Online Conservatory modules for each of these concerts will be posted 2-3 weeks prior to each featured performance.
