Also offered at Tanglewood for younger
artists ages 14-18 are the programs of the Boston University
Tanglewood Institute (BUTI), two to eight week programs from
mid-June to mid-August. Their Young Artists Programs are offered in
Orchestra and Chamber Music, Wind Ensemble and Chamber Music,
Voice, Composition, Piano, and Harp. Workshops take place over
two-week periods, with concentrations in orchestral instruments and
string quartets.
