This remarkable DVD, recorded live in Smetana Hall in Prague, marks a performance that was held on December 16, 1993 as part of the BSO's European tour.

This program represents Itzhak Perlman's first performance in Prague and the BSO's first in thirty-seven years.

Superstars Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Frederica von Stade, and the Boston Symphony led by Seiji Ozawa perform in this concert that marks the 100th anniversary of Dvorák's New World Symphony.
