BSO in Residence (BSOIR), launched in 2017, is a program designed to deepen connections with its local communities, starting with Jamaica Plain (JP). In this three-year pilot program, the BSO and the JP neighborhood are co-designing performances, projects, and events. BSOIR’s first year reached 8,500 attendees through more than a dozen performances and events, and created new ways for a diverse community to connect with the BSO. Please help support and expand this successful community engagement initiative!
