Instrument Playgrounds

AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEE, HEAR, TOUCH, AND PLAY INSTRUMENTS OF THE ORCHESTRA
Managed by the Boston Symphony Association of Volunteers, the Instrument Playground offers children and adults an opportunity to see, hear, touch, and play instruments of the orchestra in an effort to deepen their understanding of the orchestra, allowing them first-hand contact with orchestral instruments, and to inspire participation in instrumental music.

We offer instrument playgrounds prior to family concerts as well as prior to Casual Friday concerts. Tickets are required for the concert to participate in the instrument playground.
