One of the world’s foremost interpreters of the central European classical piano repertoire, Paul Lewis’ cycles of works by Beethoven and Schubert have received unanimous critical and public acclaim worldwide.

Following his acclaimed 2018 Ozawa Hall recital, Mr. Lewis returned to Tanglewood in 2019 to present another concert of his multi-year survey of Haydn, Beethoven, and Brahms.

Award-winning opera singer,  recitalist,  and champion of American song,  mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe  is one of the most highly respected and critically acclaimed artists of her generation. 
In addition to her performing career, she is  a faculty member of the  Tanglewood  Music Center,  artistic  director of the Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar at the Crane School of Music,  and  artistic director of the Bard College Conservatory of Music Graduate Vocal Arts Program.

Midori is a visionary artist, activist and educator whose unique career has transcended traditional boundaries through her relentless drive to explore and build connections between music and the human experience. A leading concert violinist for more than 35 years, she holds the Dorothy Richard Starling Chair in Violin Studies at the Curtis Institute of Music, is an honorary professor at Beijing’s Central Conservatory of Music and she teaches regularly at Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute and the Weimar Meisterkurse.
