Tanglewood's Linde Center for Music and Learning won a 2021 National AIA Honor Award for Interior Architecture. Designed by William Rawn Associates and opened in 2019, the facility was named in recognition of leadership gifts made by Joyce and Edward H. Linde and their family, who were lead donors on the transformative project. “Since its inception, Tanglewood has represented human wellness through its quest to enrich the soul through music and develop meaningful connections with the landscape,” noted the NAIA in its award description. “The Linde Center furthers those ideals and firmly establishes the future of Tanglewood and the orchestra.” Tanglewood’s Ozawa Hall, also designed by William Rawn Associates, previously received this award in 1995 and 2000.
