The Tanglewood Music Center Fellows join members of the BSO and the Pops in a special concert hosted by Yo-Yo Ma. The program opens with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 Pastoral, performed by the musicians without a conductor — one example of what happens when friends and neighbors work together with a common purpose — and includes works by Allison Loggins-Hull, John Williams, and Tchaikovsky, featuring BSO Principal Flutist Lorna McGhee and conductor Samy Rachid.
