TLI Presents: In Service to Others — A Community Action Symposium

Save the date for an all-day symposium celebrating the crucial work of the service organizations that strengthen Berkshire County and the surrounding region. Through a keynote address, guest speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, the symposium will bring together nonprofit leaders, artists, civic organizations, public officials, and members of the general public for a broad community conversation recognizing the extraordinary work being done to support and uplift our region. Together, participants will also explore how institutions not traditionally viewed as service organizations — from arts and cultural organizations to businesses and educational institutions — can be in service to others, embracing this work as a core part of their mission and becoming powerful partners in building a stronger, more connected community.

In collaboration with The Berkshire Grit Alliance, facilitated by:
Samantha Anderson, Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires
Laura Brennan, Berkshire Regional Planning Commission
Rev. Mike Denton, United Church of Christ Pittsfield
Kellie Meisl, George B. Crane Memorial Center
Katherine von Haefen, Berkshire United Way

And the many Berkshire County community members involved in The Berkshire Grit Alliance.
