"Weird Al" Yankovic Added to the 2026 Tanglewood Popular Artist Series
Five-time GRAMMY® award winner "Weird Al” Yankovic performs at Tanglewood for the first time this summer on Tuesday, July 21 at 7 p.m., bringing his “BIGGER & WEIRDER” 2026 tour to the famed music and learning campus in the Berkshires. The biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history, Yankovic’s full-production multimedia comedy rock show features iconic hits as well as fan favorites performed live for the first time. Al’s longtime band is joined by four additional players, and clown Puddles Pity Party appears as special guest. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 12 at 10 a.m.
Yankovic’s performance is part of Tanglewood’s annual Popular Artist Series, which this summer also brings Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit to the Koussevitzky Music Shed (July 28, 7 p.m.). Additional performers in the series will be announced throughout the winter and spring.
A full schedule of the 2026 Tanglewood summer season, including concerts by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, and Tanglewood Music Center fellows, will be announced in late January 2026, and tickets will be available in early March.
