overture to his opera Les Amazones.

Diners will be immersed in a multisensory environment, heightening their enjoyment and appreciation of the performance at the subsequent concert. By pairing music with food, we encourage people to focus on the music in a new way, engaging in a journey of sensory exploration, while also enhancing the sense of community among music lovers.
Food Opera Objectives: To illuminate various aspects of Méhul's composition for audience members by isolating themes and exploring textures, pulling the piece apart so that they can better understand its inner workings when they hear it put back together at the subsequent concert.
-To shed light on this little-known composer by using the meal to introduce elements of his life and work, such as his love of flowers and botany, his family's ties to the wine trade, and the aim of his opera Les Amazones to celebrate peace between nations. -To provide a taste of what it's like to be a member of the orchestra, offering a uniquely immersive vantage point from which diners will be surrounded by orchestral sound.
Price includes dinner and choice of standard or premium concert ticket.
