Yoga on the Lawn 
Once again this summer, in collaboration with the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Tanglewood is pleased to offer hour-long yoga classes taught by fully accredited Kripalu teachers from 10:15-11:15am on Saturday mornings (weather permitting). Located on the lawn near the Tanglewood Visitor Center, these weekly classes are available at no additional charge to Saturday-morning BSO Rehearsal ticketholders on July 8, 15, 22, and 29, and August 5, 12, 19, and 26.

On Sunday afternoons, July 9 through August 27, when the gates open at noon, enjoy new and exciting events for all ages to enhance your Tanglewood experience. Activities that take place at various locations throughout the grounds include local food tastings and other specialties of the region, face painting, yoga and Qigong, games for families, and more! From 12:30- 1:30, additional offerings including lectures, performances, and musical demonstrations, will take place in the Theater.

PIANO DANCE-OFF 12:30-1:30pm, Theatre
TMC pianists are featured in a program showcasing an assortment of dance forms, from the Baroque through the 20th century, with commentary from Alan Smith of the TMC faculty.

TANGLEWOOD TOUR 12:30pm, Visitors Center The Boston Symphony Association of Volunteers offers free walking tours of the Tanglewood campus that last approximately one hour and include visits to the Koussevitzky Music Shed, Ozawa Hall, other music facilities, the Visitors Center history rooms, and more. In the event of inclement weather, tours will meet informally under cover.

QIGONG 1:30pm, Lawn Adjacent to the Grille Try your hand at qigong, an ancient form of energy work and dynamic meditation using gentle movement, visualization, sound and breathing. Beginners welcome.
