Group Sales Associate
The Group Sales Associate expedites the processing of group sales for all major brands of the BSO, including Boston Symphony, Spring Pops, Holiday Pops, and Tanglewood.
Facilities Office Manager
The Facilities Office Manager coordinates centralized workplace services for BSO staff, and plays a linchpin role in the interface between the Facilities operations team (both in-house and external service providers) and the customers occupying the BSO facilities: BSO employees, orchestra, and the concert going public. Also, the Facilities Office Manager administers capital project documentation and vendor contract management, by tracking commitments, preparing meeting minutes, and arranging meetings.
Management Office Administrator
Assist Orchestra Manager in administering all activities and services of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Inc. including Symphony, Pops, and Tanglewood Seasons, and Boston Symphony Chamber Players.
Business Office Administrator
Provide executive level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer(CFO). In addition, provide project management support, manage confidential and time-sensitive information, and coordinate and execute all administrative functions while working collaboratively with staff members to provide seamless administrative and organizational assistance.
Assistant Director, Development Events
The Assistant Director of Development Events works on a variety of development related projects but primarily directs the production and management of development events in both Boston and Tanglewood.
Chief Development Officer
Reporting to the CEO, Mark Volpe, the CDO will be responsible for the creation of the overall strategic development initiatives producing revenue goals in support of the BSO’s mission and vision for the future.
Director of Content and Digital Services
The Director of Content & Digital Services oversees the creative expression of the BSO brand and its various sub-brands across all channels, including ownership of all websites for the BSO.
Sr. Publicist – Public Relations

We have an opportunity available for a Senior Publicist to join our Press Office team. You will work with the Director of Public Relations with key aspects of the operation, including creating and maintaining relationships with press in the arts, lifestyle, and travel sectors; managing the office’s library of photo and video assets; working closely with the marketing team on social media efforts, writing and editing press materials; and pitching features, reviews, and interviews to online and local print outlets.
Facility Maintenance Mechanic
Symphony Hall, the home of the world-renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), is considered one of the top concert halls in the world. As a member of the House Crew, the Facility Maintenance Mechanic performs general maintenance and repairs to the building infrastructure and surrounding exterior, routine preventive maintenance of equipment, maintenance of interior furnishings and finishes, and operational support of events.
