Tanglewood Learning Institute Program Manager
The Boston Symphony’s Tanglewood Learning Institute (TLI) provides participants with opportunities for greater understanding and exploration of classical music, and a wide range of connected intellectual pursuits. The TLI Program Manager envisions, contributes to, and produces a wide array of in person and online learning and engagement programs for adults.
Director of Education & Community Engagement
The Director of Education and Community Engagement provides internal and external leadership for BSO education and community programs in keeping with the goals and objectives of the orchestra. S/he serves as the primary spokesperson for these efforts, and works closely with the Development Department to secure and expand funding for Education and Community Engagement programming.

Executive Assistant to the Director of Development
Join the BSO’s development staff as Executive Assistant to the Director of Development. In supporting the senior management of the BSO’s Development office, this position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support coordinating schedules, managing general office administration and maintaining communications with a variety of internal and external constituents at all levels. The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn, an ability to deal with a wide-range of individuals and a capacity to prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously.
Tanglewood Facilities Manager
Manage all aspects of new construction projects, facilities maintenance, asset preservation, public safety, security, day-to-day and event operations at Tanglewood and other BSO Berkshire-based properties. Forecast, justify and manage Tanglewood facilities capital and operating budgets. Manage full-time, part-time and seasonal facilities staff in maintenance, logistical, traffic, public safety, security, parking and other facilities and event operations. Develop and manage effective risk mitigation, workplace safety and code compliance programs. Maintain collaborative working relationships with BSO staff in the coordination of activities to establish and promote an exceptional Tanglewood operating culture. Serve as assistant BSO liaison to the Berkshires on Tanglewood facilities matters. Manage all contracted services. Perform project management services for construction projects as assigned. Perform other duties as directed.
