Senior Individual Giving Officer
The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for the direct engagement and solicitation of Boston Symphony Orchestra, Pops, and Tanglewood patrons. The Senior IGO will collaborate with individual giving team members and donor relations staff to develop individual strategies and will help ensure that the orchestra's annual, endowment, capital, and special project funding priorities are met. The Senior IGO will also work closely with various staff to identify and qualify new prospects and will serve as a key relationship manager for those prospects as the BSO prepares for, and executes, various fundraising initiatives.
Assistant Manager of Planned Giving
The Assistant Manager of Planned Giving reports to the Director of Planned Giving and is responsible for the administration, monitoring and tracking of all active and deferred planned gifts. Additionally, the Assistant Manager helps manage the Walter Piston Society (currently at 415 members) and will work to grow the Society by seeking planned gift donors. As the successful candidate, you will be an organized, driven team player who is able to collaborate professionally with both internal and external constituents with an impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support for all Human Resources areas including: full-cycle talent acquisition, benefit administration, regulatory compliance reporting and audits, compensation, training and development, HRIS, and diversity, equity and inclusion. The Human Resources Coordinator will deliver outstanding customer service and exercise discretion and tact.
Individual Giving Officer
The Individual Giving Officer (IGO) reports to the Director of Individual Giving and works closely with other colleagues on the Individual Giving and Research and Analytics teams to discover, verify, and engage a prospect pool at the Society giving level ($3,000 and more) for multiple fundraising efforts in support of the orchestra’s endowment, capital, special projects, and operating goals. The IGO will focus on Tanglewood prospects who live in the Western MA, CT, NY and FL territories and will need to relocate to Tanglewood (in Lenox, MA) between July and August.
Business Office Administrator
Provide executive level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer(CFO). In addition, provide project management support, manage confidential and time-sensitive information, and coordinate and execute all administrative functions while working collaboratively with staff members to provide seamless administrative and organizational assistance.
Chief Development Officer
Reporting to the CEO, Mark Volpe, the CDO will be responsible for the creation of the overall strategic development initiatives producing revenue goals in support of the BSO’s mission and vision for the future.
Director of Content and Digital Services
The Director of Content & Digital Services oversees the creative expression of the BSO brand and its various sub-brands across all channels, including ownership of all websites for the BSO.
