Student Open Rehearsals

Student Open Rehearsals offer a unique glimpse into the inner workings of a world-class orchestra. An exciting new offering in 2026-27, Youth Open Rehearsals invite student musicians in grades 6-8 to sit in on the first half of a BSO rehearsal. High School Open Rehearsals invite students in grades 8-12 to sit in on a BSO rehearsal. Please note that the orchestra may perform the program out of order and may not perform all pieces. Tickets to Student Open Rehearsals can be purchased through Group Sales. Students and teachers from Boston Public Schools may attend any Student Open Rehearsal for free, subject to availability and with advance reservation.
