Technology and Our Humanity

Consider one of the most urgent questions of our time: How is technology reshaping not only music, but also our understanding of ourselves and one another? As a provocative first step toward a deeper exploration to come, this thematic preview is anchored by an inventive BSO world premiere that utilizes live AI technology, composed by Tod Machover, faculty director of the MIT Media Lab. Alongside talks and select non-orchestral offerings, these thought-provoking events signal the BSO’s commitment to engaging with the shifting relationship between technology, creativity, and the human experience.
