A concentrated week of activity October 19–25 invites audiences to consider one of the most urgent questions of our time: how technology is reshaping not only music, but our understanding of ourselves and one another. This technology-focused preview serves as a provocative first step toward a much deeper exploration to come, anchored by a BSO world premiere by Tod Machover, Director of the MIT Media Lab, alongside a small constellation of talks and select non-orchestral offerings that open new ways of listening and thinking.
