Alexander Kravets’ current season comprises Alexander’s returns as Police Officer The Nose to La Monnaie, Missail Boris Godunov at Teatro alla Scala, Sailor Tsar Saltan at Teatro Real Madrid and La Monnaie, The Incredible Andrea Chenier and Altoum Turandot at the Royal Opera House. Recent projects include Drunken Cossack Mazeppa with Berliner Philharmoniker and Baden-Baden Festival, 4th Jew in Salome with Finnish National Opera Helsinki, Ulisse in Ronchetti’s Inferno for Oper Frankfurt. Kravets returns to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Goro Madama Butterfly, Grand Théâtre de Genève as Platon Karataev War & Peace, Ulisse in Ronchetti’s Inferno at the Spoleto Festival, La Monnaie as Chekalinsky Pique Dame, First Jew in the Salome production of Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (postponed due to COVID), Shuyski Boris Godunov in the Opéra de Monte Carlo, Ulisse in Ronchetti’s Inferno at the Oper Frankfurt, Clare Quilty in Lolita by Rodion Shchedrin for Prague, Chekalinsky Pique Dame at the Teatro di San Carlo Naples.
