Berkshire Hills Chorus

Founded in 1969 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the Berkshire Hills Chorus is a chapter of Sing United International (formerly Sweet Adelines), a global organization dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of barbershop harmony through education, performance, and community.

The chorus brings together women of all ages who share a passion for the unique, chord-ringing sound of four-part a cappella barbershop harmony. It performs a wide variety of challenging and entertaining music throughout Berkshire County and have had the privilege of appearing at Tanglewood on Parade as well as competing in regional Sing United competitions.

The chorus' repertoire includes music by Billy Joel, Randy Newman, and Leonard Cohen, as well as Broadway favorites, popular songs, classic standards, and ballads.

The members of the Berkshire Hills Chorus represent a diverse range of ages, experiences, and backgrounds, united by a love of singing, friendship, and sharing the joy of barbershop harmony with the community.
