About

Claire Park, 16, is a sophomore at the Winsor School in Boston, MA. She studies classical voice and Alexander Technique with Clara Sandler at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School.

Claire’s competition accolades for classical voice include first place (2025) and second place (2026) in the Classical Singer National Convention Vocal Competition, first place in the 2026 National Association of Teachers of Singing New England Regional competition, first place in the 2026 Vocal Artists Management Services Young Vocalists Competition, and third place in the 2026 Schmidt Vocal Competition Massachusetts Regional, where she was also named Most Promising Sophomore.

Claire performed the lead soprano role of Josephine in Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore at Interlochen Arts Camp in 2024. In the 2025 Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Vocal Program, Claire sang in the chorus of Tosca with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and played the role of Cendrillon in a scene from Viardot’s Cendrillon. During the year, Claire performs with the New England Conservatory Preparatory School Youth Chorale and Vocal Theatre Lab, in which she played Cunegonde in a scene from Candide and Cosette in scenes from Les Misérables, among other roles.

At Winsor, Claire sings in Illumina, the school’s select high school chorus, and in Allegro Club, which brings live chamber music performances to Boston-area retirement communities. She is a multi-year gold medalist on the National Latin Exam and enjoys drawing upon classical mythology and history to inform many of her vocal performances.
