Lauren Stevens

Lauren Stevens is a proud Passamaquoddy woman, a citizen of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Motahkomikuk, a traditional song sharer, and a member of the Wabanaki Nations Wampum C.I.S.M. Network, which focuses on providing compassionate presence and supporting Indigenous communities after critical incidents and during times of need. She is a participant and co-director of the 2022 short documentary Weckuwapok: The Approaching Dawn and has participated in many musical collaborations across Turtle Island. Lauren began singing at a very young age, sharing love and promoting connection across cultures through song, as well as traditional Wabanaki customs and values.
