Roger Paul
About
Roger Paul, Peskotomuhkat naka Wolastoqin, grew up on many of the Wabanaki communities in Maine and the Eastern Maritime Provinces in Canada. His first language was his Indigenous language, and not until the age of six was he forced to speak English. Roger has been a teacher of his dialects of the Wabanaki Languages for 20 years. He teaches students at a tribal elementary school, the University of Maine, and the University of Southern Maine.
