The Magic of Traditions, Old and New

Just as every instrument plays a part in the orchestra, so too does the Holiday Pops in seasonal traditions and plans. Bringing people together in the spirit of the season is a hallmark of the Holiday Pops, and this year, the organization continues to foster old and new traditions amongst audiences in Boston and beyond.

On November 30, the Boston Pops and conductor Keith Lockhart held a complimentary preview performance of Holiday Pops for members of the military community and their families. The event brought together more than 2,000 attendees from over 50 organizations representing active military, veterans, and immediate family members of a fallen service member who came together for this unique experience and to be honored and celebrated for their service. Lead Event Sponsor Highland Street Foundation provided expertise and support to create the evening, with additional support from longstanding Lead Season Sponsor Fidelity Investments.
