An Evening with Mandy Patinkin

Boston Pops

Symphony Hall - Boston, MA - View Map

Mandy Patinkin is a show business legend, winning Tony Awards for roles he created in Evita and Sunday in the Park with George, and Emmy and Golden Globes for his work in Chicago Hope and Homeland.  You know him from countless movies, perhaps best for his beloved portrayal of Inigo Montoya in the timeless classic The Princess Bride.  He is also an electrifying concert performer.  The New Yorker says: "Mandy Patinkin is in the business of showstopping... He is a musical force of nature!" This concert performance will also feature the winners of the Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition.

Due to a death in the family, Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart will not be able to lead the Boston Pops performances on Tuesday, June 7, and Wednesday, June 8. For those two performances, conductor Robert Bernhardt will conduct the first half of the program and conductor Eric Stern will lead the second half, featuring special guest Mandy Patinkin. The programs remain unchanged.
